4 leaf clovers are the perfect St. Patricks Day charm.  Our clover shape printed with a custom insert card and a screen printed kelly green t-shirt gives you a promotional tool that will be a hit to pass out at bars, March Trade Shows, or parades!

If you don’t want to promote your company with the holiday theme, you can still use this lucky shape.  For instance, if your company has an upcoming trade show, print the clover shaped insert cards with a code for entry into a contest that your company is running, and have the recipients try their “luck” at winning!  Or give the shirts out with a catch phrase “lucky you, you’ve just received a free tee!”

We have many more ideas just like these.  Contact us today to match a shape to your promotional needs!

Trade Show Giveaways

Here are 5 things to consider when choosing a company give away:

1.) Who is your audience?  Choose a product that speaks to your target recipient.  A printed piggy bank may work for a bank give away but not necessarily for a baseball game.

2.) What is your budget?  Consider if you can afford to give an item to each individual or if one high profile giveaway will suit your check book.  Be careful about what you choose though, don’t just purchase 5,000 pens at a great price- remember who your audience is.

3.) What is your marketing goal?  You may be trying to brand your company, launch a new product, or direct customers to your website.  The product you choose needs to clearly reflect this goal.

4.) What is the rate of Return on Investment (ROI)?   At trade shows particularly, you have to be careful of giving something away that will attract the masses (i.e. edible goodies that have printed wrappers; the wrapper is quickly peeled off and thrown away with no memory of the company that gave them) with no return.  You want a giveaway that is going to turn prospects into customers. People should walk away from your booth knowing who the giveaway was from, and alternatively you should gain information too. Create a drawing for a free new computer giveaway or collect business cards in exchange for a printed compressed tee shirt.

5.) Is the giveaway memorable?  Consider all the above points when choosing your product give away but most importantly make the product something that will be remembered by your target audience.  You want the recipients of your product to go home and connect the product you gave them to your company and your marketing message.  To accomplish this select something that has sustainability and value.

Screen Printing, Getting the Best Result…

I am working on a project with a client that requires printing a detailed logo on a dark shirt.  In order to get this logo print ready, there are going to be a lot of man hours required.

So, the question arises- what is the best way to prepare and print this logo?

Many are familiar with the term CMYK.  The process of using 4 colors (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) and using each in many different levels to form a picture or graphic. 4 Color Process requires the use of "translucent" inks for the purposes of blending. The nature of this process produces a "faded/washed out" appearance because there are no solid colors. Also, the levels tend to shift more towards one of the colors in the spectrum, and often times looks "too green, too dark, or too pink". Straight 4 Color Process CANNOT be done on Dark shirts. 4 Color Process really only looks good on paper or the web.

There is also a process called Index Printing.  Index Printing is the process of manually converting a 4 Color Process art file into solid spot colors. This produces a crisper, more solid look on the shirt. It also gives us more control over the colors within the graphic. Indexing an art file is very time consuming and costly, and often times results in the use of upwards of 13-14 spot colors instead of the 4 used in 4 Color Process.

Lastly, there is simulated process which is the Dark Shirt Version of 4 Color Process. It’s a cross between 4 Color Process and Indexing. Instead of using "translucent" inks as required for straight 4 Color Process, we use "opaque" inks. We use a combination of halftones and solid spots. Simulated Process can be substituted in place of Indexing in the event that Indexing a particular graphic would result in more colors than we can print. Simulated Process can be used on Light or Dark shirts, but works best on Darks.

At Tee Compressed we use the appropriate technique based on the individual artwork.  This gives you, the client, the best screen printed image possible.  Contact us or email over your artwork to discuss a project today!

Back To Basics

In the hustle and bustle of daily business, we often forget about basic customer necessities.  While we are so busy organizing, promoting, branding, and budgeting we neglect customer service.  Simply answering the phone or responding to an email gives the consumer confidence in your company.  I just heard from a client the other day that she was ignored by other vendors she had contacted.  Ignored?  That is like throwing away business.

It is time that we remember why we opened our doors in the first place-To serve the consumer.

We at Tee Compressed have made customer service our #1 priority.  If you request a quote either by phone or email we will respond same business day.  It is that simple.  We will get you the information you need so that you can carry on with your business and get back to serving your customers.
